As promised, this Wednesday we’re happy to introduce you to another new staff member of Aloha High School. This week, we have math teacher Caleb Stinger.

Q: What attracted you to working at Aloha High School? In other words, what set AHS apart from other schools?

A: It seemed like a good school where teamwork is valued.

Q: What do you like most about coming to work every day?

A: The feeling of community.

Q: Have you ever lived anywhere else besides Oregon?

A: Nope, only in Oregon :(.

Q: What is one word that best describes you?

A: Laidback.

Q: Do you have any odd or awesome hobbies or talents you’d like to share?

A: Fly fishing.

Q: Why did you want to become a teacher?

A: To make a difference.

Q: What’s the most fulfilling thing about being a teacher?

A: Those “AHA” moments.

Q: What’s the most amazing thing you’ve ever seen? This can be something in nature, an exchange between students you’ve heard…

A: Nothing…
